WHO AM I?
I have a passion for the Arts and have been following that for over 10 years now through a variety of experiences, jobs, and ventures. I started studying graphic design as a teenager at a vocational technical high school, and then continued on to begin my graphic design degree at Mount Ida College. After an upsetting turn of events involving the sudden closure of Mount Ida, I ended up at Roger Williams University where I graduated with my BA. Immediately after I interned with WaterFire Providence, a non-profit arts organization in Providence. I quickly grew to love the community of Providence and jumped at the opportunity to become a permanent part of the WaterFire team. With the impact of Covid, my job at WaterFire shifted and I learned many new skills involving merchandising and store management. I found myself longing for a more creative outlet, so I began the journey of creating my own small artisan business making handmade, preserved nature jewelry and artworks. This lead me down a path of growing my business and sharing my art with the community at various art market shows and other events.
I am proficient in using the Adobe Creative Suite and well-educated in design fundamentals such as typography, vector graphics, web design, and editorial design. I have an understanding of CSS and Wordpress, and have experience working with video. I understand how to run a small business and create all of the necessary materials and marketing that go along with that. Outside of graphic design and art some of my other hobbies and interests include photography, nature, animals, events, and music. .
